SCHOCK QUARTER TURN TAP SPARES

If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Original spare part codes known by 1212R / SCH547 / SCH548.
Cartridges have 20 splines. Hot and cold valve replacements available. If you do not know which side is leaking you should replace both.

When you remove your old cartridge from the tap the bush usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve.
If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them.
If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the SB34-S bush.
The original bush code is 3408R.

How do I remove my tap handle?
Remove indice / hot and cold caps from the end of the handle. This will reveal a screw.
Use crosshead screwdriver to undo this screw. Once screw is removed you can pull the handle off.
