Tap Magician compatible spares to suit the Abode Portia ACT2086 ACT2085 kitchen tap.
If your Abode Portia tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Cartridge has 28 teeth on spline. Hot and cold valves available.
You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side,
If you require both then you can select "Pair"
Your tap handle utilises a plastic handle adaptor / tap head carrier.
Sometimes this can wear or break.
If you require a new one (This is our part SA03-S).
Original tap handle adaptor code SP3530.
We now offer compatible lever handles however these are a different style to the original.
Replacement handles do not use handle adaptor.
Replacement tap aerator / antisplasher available. SR63C-S (Chrome) SR63CB-S (Brushed Chrome).
If you need a new complete spout this is our Code SPOUT01C / SPOUT01CB and is compatible with SP1306. The Spout comes complete with aerator and o rings.
If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing.
When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease.
How to remove the Abode Portia Tap handle?
Before replacing the cartridge you will need to turn the water off.
Step 1. Remove the handle retaining screw, by using a 2.5mm allen key.
Step 2. Pull the handle away from the tap body.
Step 3. You’ll then need a crosshead screwdriver to remove the screw holding the white plastic sleeve in place.
Step 4. With the handle adaptor sleeve removed use our ST03-S cartridge removal tool to unscrew the cartridge.
Step 5. Replace the cartridge and reverse the steps to refit the handle.
How to remove your Portia cartridge?
Our Cartridge Valve removal tool (ST03) is available to enable easy removal and fitting of the cartridges which are recessed into the tap body. The old valve may have two flats instead of a hex nut. Our tool has two ends. One end to remove the cartridge with two flats and one end to remove/fit new cartridge with hex nut.
How to remove the Abode Portia tap spout?
Step 1. Unscrew spout locking collar anticlockwise.
Step 2. Pull spout up and out of tap body.
