Watch our video below for guidance / how to change your Atlas quarter turn ceramic valves and Spout O Rings
Tap Magician fully compatible spares for the Abode Atlas (AT1053 and AT1054) tap kitchen Mixer Lever tap. Our cartridge is compatible with 1427R / ASCDV0003 ASCDV0003H ASCDV0003C
If your tap is leaking/dripping out of the spout then it is time to replace the cartridges.
Please note if you have "atlas Aquifier" tap, then we cannot supply the cold side which does both mains cold and filter cold and requires a diverter cartridge.
When you remove your old valve from the tap the bush usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve. If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them. If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush. (Bush is our code SB27, original code 3868R)
The Atlas cartridge has 28 splines. You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair"
If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing. When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease. The original O'ring kit is known by 1425R SP1425 (our code SK19)
If you require a new antisplasher /aerator this is our part SR63C/CB (available in Chrome or brushed) Original codes known by 133.0068.762 SP1263 /1263R your original part may have Neoperl stamped around the edge.
Replacement handles are available but will need to be replaced as a pair as they are slightly different to the original
You can find the Atlas tap / instruction diagram below.

Use 2mm allen key to undo handle. The grub screw is located on the underside of the handle. You can pull the lever forwards to access the screw at the back if you need more space. Undo shroud / tap cover anticlockwise.
How do I know if need the adaptor bush?
Until you remove the cartridge from the tap you will not know if you need this part. This is because sometimes the bush gets corroded to the tap and remains in the tap body, and other times it comes out corroded to the tap cartridge.
Can I remove the adaptor bush from the old cartridge?
Yes you can but it can be very hard to remove due to corrosion. You can try using very hot water, followed by cold water over it, to help break the corrosion seal.
