Tap Magician Compatible Replacement Ceramic tap cartridge to fit the Abode New Media single lever tap.

If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the cartridge.
Original spare part known by code 1202R / 1484R / 9.13863.

Compatible with models AT1180, AT1181, AT1182, AT1183.

If your New Media tap is leaking from where the spout joins the tap body (the neck) then you need to replace the O Rings inside the spout.
Our spout repair kit is compatible with the 3527R / ASOR0004.

How to remove the tap handle and replace the valve:
Tilt the handle to view the grub screw. Use a 2mm allen key to loosen the grub screw.
Once removed pull the handle away from the tap body.
Using a precision screwdriver or similar to carefully lever the decorative cap away from the lock nut.
With this removed hold the tap body firmly and unscrew the valve lock nut anticlockwise with a adjustable spanner.
You can then remove the valve and replace.

How to remove the spout and replace orings:
Loosen grub screw on the rear of body using a 2.5mm allen key.
Pull the spout up out of the tap body and remove orings.
When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease (SL05-S).
