Replacement Spares compatible with the Bristan Smile Bath taps, Bath filler SM BF C, Shower mixer SM BSM C, pillar taps SM 3/4 C. For guidance / instructions of how to replace a tap valve step by step please click here If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges. Original valves may have code BS4512 CD XZ 20... stamped on them Cartridge has 20 teeth on spline. You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair" Original cartridge has a white plastic adaptor on the spline. You will need to re use this adaptor. See Image below. To remove the Orta tap handle / head you need to pull it off. There is no grub screw.
