If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.

Original spare part known by code 1229R.

If you require a new antisplasher / aerator this is our part SR24C-S (available in Chrome). Original codes known by 1232R / SP1232.

  How to replace the cartridge:
Before replacing the cartridge you will need to turn the water off.
To remove the handle tilt the handle into the on position and remove screw /dust cap with a small screwdriver.
Once removed loosen the handle retaining screw with a 2.5mm allen key and remove the handle.
Unscrew the decorative shroud away from the body.
Hold the body of the tap firmly and using an adjustable spanner or socket to unscrew the valve lock nut.
Use an adjustable spanner to remove the cartridge.
Once this has been removed you can then remove the cartridge and replace.
