Franke Olympus Spring Spare Parts to repair your leaking or dripping tap. When you remove your old Cartridge / Insert from the tap the bush usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve. If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them. If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush. **Please note on the older Olympus G model (identifiable by the red and blue colour indicators on the levers, the conversion bush required is different. It may take our SB26, or it may be an older bush that we do not sell. If in any doubt send us a photo

Please note the Screw supplied will not fit the "G" model (identifiable by the red and blue colour markers on the levers) or Pre 2007 models so be sure to keep your old screw.

Franke Olympus Frequently asked questions

How to I remove the Franke Olympus tap handle?
Use 2mm allen key to undo handle. The grub screw is located on the underside of the handle. You can pull the lever forwards to access the screw at the back if you need more space.

How do I know if need the adaptor bush?
Until you remove the cartridge from the tap you will not know if you need this part. This is because sometimes the bush gets corroded to the tap and remains in the tap body, and other times it comes out corroded to the tap cartridge.

Can I remove the adaptor bush from the old cartridge?
Yes you can but it can be very hard to remove due to corrosion. You can try using very hot water, followed by cold water over it, to help break the corrosion seal. The bush unscrews from the cartridge anticlockwise. You will likely ed to use some grips or put it in a vice to remove it. If you cannot separate it you will need to replace the bush.

How do I remove the spout and replace the o'rings inside the spout?
Use 2.5mm allen key to undo grub screw at the back holding the spout in place. pull spout up and out of the tap body. You can watch our How to video above.

What size spanner do I need to remove the Franke Olympus tap handle?
You will need a 17mm or an adjustable spanner
