If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace the on / off flow cartridges.
Replacement cartridges known by 40D-1.

How to remove the handle and replace the dripping cartridge:
1. Remove the screw cap cover, loosen the grub screw.
2. Remove the handle and decorative cover.
3. Remove the cartridge retaining nut using a suitable spanner. This is anticlockwise to loosen.
4. Now pull the cartridge out of the tap body and clean the tap seat.
5. Place the new cartridge into the body, tighten the retaining nut.
6. Replace the cover and handle, tighten the grub screw and re-fit lever to handle.
