If your Lupus tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Original spare part codes known by 1212R / ASCDV0001C, hot and cold valve replacements available.
Cartridge has 20 teeth on spline.
You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side,
If you require both then you can select "Pair".
Please note the Lupus handle required a long screw, you will need to purchase our SS25-T separately.
If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing. When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease. The original O'ring kit is known by 1239R.
If you require a new antisplasher aerator this is our part SR63C-S (Chrome) or SR63CB-S (Brushed).
Original codes known by 133.0068.762 SP1263 /1263R. Original part may have Neoperl stamped around the edge.
If you need a new complete spout this is our Code SPOUT01C (in chrome) and is compatible with SP1306. The Spout comes complete with aerator and o rings.
How to remove the Abode Lupus handle?
Before replacing the cartridge you will need to turn the water off.
Step 1. Remove the end cap
Step 2. Use a crosshead screwdriver to undo the handle retaining screw screw
Step 3. Pull the crosshead handle away from tap body
Step 4. Unscrew shroud anticlockwise
Step 5. Use 17mm or adjustable spanner to undo cartridge anticlockwise
Step 6. Screw in the new cartridge clockwise
Step 7. Tighten the cartridge enough to seal, but avoid over-tightening
How to remove the Abode Lupus spout and replace the oring's?
Step 1. Unscrew locking nut at the base of the spout.
Step 2. Pull spout up and out of tap body.
When replacing the orings we would recommend lubricate these with silicon grease.
