Tap Magician compatible spares / parts to repair the Bristan Echo and Echo Easyfit Kitchen mixer tap with lever handle post 2022 Cartridge measures 51mm tall. Please note earlier models take a shorter cartridge.

If your Bristan echo easyfit tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Original spare part codes known by 2998827200 /4648G / 3770R.
Unlike other suppliers our cartridges come with new brass M4 screws.

Hot and cold valve replacements available. Cartridge has 20 teeth on spline.
You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side.
If you require both then you can select "Pair".

If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing.
When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease.

If you require a new antisplasher /aerator this is our part SR63C/CB (available in Chrome or brushed).
Original codes known by 133.0068.762 / SP1263 / 1263R.
The original part may have Neoperlperlator stamped around the edge.

The screw retaining serrated washer (SWSS-T) is required to stop the screw coming loose.
If you do not have the original serrated washer and your handle is loose you will need to purchase a new one.

Frequently asked Questions on the Bristan Echo

How do I remove the Bristan Echo tap handle and replace the cartridge / valve?
1. Remove end cap from end of handle
2. Undo screw using crosshead screwdriver.
3. Pull handle off.
4. Use adjustable spanner to undo cartridge anticlockwise.
5. Screw new cartridge in clockwwise.

How do I remove the echo spout?
Unscrew locking nut at the base of the spout. This will unscrew anti-clockwise.
Pull spout up and out of the tap body. Some water will seep out.
When you replace the O'rings you should apply silicone grease to the new o rings.

How can I stop my Bristan Echo tap from dripping?
If your tap is leaking from the spout you will need to replace the cartridges.
If you have isolation vales under the sink you can isolate the supply to the hot and cold to work out which side is leaking.
If you can't determine which side is leaking you should replace both sides.

When I have replaced my handle the handle is wobbly/loose?
There is a serrated washer which will have been under the old screw on the original valve.
Please re-use this serrated washer underneath the new screw.
