If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Original spare part codes known by 1212R / 3984R, hot and cold valve replacements available.
We can offer a compatible replacement set of lever handles - these are a different design to the original so must be replaced together as a set
Replacement Aerator available
The cartridge has 20 splines. You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair".
When you remove your old valve from the tap the bush sometimes this remains inside the tap block, sometimes it comes out together with the valve.
If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them. If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush. (Bush is our code SB34, original code 3408R).
If your tap is leaking around the base of the spout (the neck) you need to replace the o rings inside the spout.
Our O'rings are compatible with original spare parts known by 1239R.
How do I remove the Enya tap handle/head and replace the cartridge?
1. Remove hot cold screw caps / indice by prising them off.
2. You can then remove the handle retaining screw with a crosshead screwdriver.
3. Once removed pull the handle away from the tap body.
4. Unscrew cartridge anticlockwise with 17mm or adjustable spanner.
5. Screw new cartridge in clockwise.
6. Refit Handle
How do I remove the spout?
Unscrew locking collar at base of spout and pull spout up and out of tap body.
We recommend to apply grease on the new o rings.
What tools will I need to replace the tap cartridge?
You will need an adjustable (or 17mm) spanner, and a crosshead screwdriver.
How do I know which side is leaking?
If you have isolation valves under the sink you can isolate the supply to work out which is leaking.
Otherwise you should replace both the hot and cold at the same time.
