How Do I remove the Ideal Standard Alto tap top / head/ handle?
See diagram below. Handle will pull off. Once you have the handle off you can remove the screw holding the handle adaptor in place. You will need to re-use this handle adaptor.

How can I repair my dripping alto bath pillar/ bat mixer tap?
If your Alto Bath tap is dripping then its time to replace the cartridges. IF you do not know which side is leaking it is best to replace both.
If you require a new aerator (flow limitor) for the dual control one taphole basin mixer tap then this is our SR24C-S (not suitable for the pillar taps)
