FAQ
How do I remove the handle on the Muri kitchen tap?
Use 2mm allen key to undo screw on the underside of the handle. Pull handle off. Unscrew shroud by unscrewing anticlockwise.
How do I know if need the adaptor bush?
Until you remove the cartridge from the tap you will not know if you need this part.
This is because sometimes the bush gets corroded to the tap and remains in the tap body, and other times it comes out corroded to the tap cartridge.
Can I remove the adaptor bush from the old cartridge?
Yes you can but it can be very hard to remove due to corrosion. You can try using very hot water, followed by cold water over it, to help break the corrosion seal. The bush unscrews from the cartridge anticlockwise. You will likely ed to use some grips or put it in a vice to remove it. If you cannot separate it you will need to replace the bush.
