Replacement Spares compatible with the Bristan Quest Basin tap QST 1/2 C. H0309.

If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Original valves may have code BS4512 CD XZ 20 stamped on them. Known by part ref. VS02-C20

You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side,
If you require both then you can select "Pair"

Cartridge has 20 teeth on spline. Original cartridge has a white plastic adaptor on the spline. See Image below.
If this breaks you can order a new adaptor (SA01BR-S).

How to remove the Bristan Quest tap handle / head?
Before replacing the cartridge you will need to turn the water off.
Step 1. You need to pull it off. There is no retaining screw.
Step 2. Use an adjustable spanner to undo the cartridge counterclockwise
Step 3. Screw in the new cartridge clockwise
Step 4. Tighten the cartridge enough to seal, but avoid over-tightening
