If your Althia tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges. Original spare part codes known by ASCDV0009 / 3794R / SP3794/ 3794R / SP3308 / 3308R hot and cold valve replacements available
If your tap is leaking from round the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing. You need to replace all parts from the O'Ring seal kit The original Oring kit is known by 1260R. You should apply silicone grease to the o rings before replacing the spout.
Cartridge has 28 teeth on spline.
You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side.
If you require both then you can select "Pair".
If you require a new spline adaptor for inside the handle you can purchase our SA03. If you need a new aerator/antisplasher this is SR18C-S.

How to remove my Abode Althia tap head/handle?
Use a 2.5mm Allen key to remove grub screw on the underside of the handle. If you need a replacement handle screw this is SS04-S. The handle will then pull off.
How to remove the Spout?
Use 2.5mm allen key to undo screw at the back of the spout. Pull spout up and out of tap body.
How to remove your cartridge?
Our Cartridge Valve removal tool (ST03) is available to enable easy removal and fitting of the cartridges which are recessed into the tap body.
The old valve may have two flats instead of a hex nut.
Our tool has two ends. One end to remove the cartridge with two flats and one end to remove/fit new cartridge with hex nut.
