How to remove my Rosolina tap head / handle and replace the cartridge?
1. Remove the handle retaining screw by using a 2.5mm allen key.
2. You can then pull the handle off.
3. You will then need a crosshead screwdriver to remove the brass screw holding the white plastic handle insert onto the valve.
Once you’ve removed this, you can unscrew the valve (anti-clockwise) by using a 14mm box spanner. Our Cartridge Valve removal tool (ST03) is available to enable easy removal and fitting of the cartridges which are recessed into the tap body. The old valve may have two flats instead of a hex nut. Our tool has two ends. One end to remove the cartridge with two flats and one end to remove/fit new cartridge with hex nut.
4. Fit the replacement cartridge by screwing in clockwise.
5. Replace the tap lever.
Your tap handle may utilise a plastic handle adaptor / tap head carrier. Sometimes this can wear or break and we can supply this part if you require a new one (Our part SA03_S).
Original tap handle adaptor code SP3530 / 133.0153.218.
