If your Franke Ascona tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges. Original spare part codes known by SP3308, 3308R, SP3794 3794R, 133.0358.055, 133.0358.053 133.0150.220, 133.0150.219, hot and cold valves available.

Cartridge has 28 teeth on spline. You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair". If you don't knwo which is leaking you need to replace both sides.
Your tap handle may utilise a plastic handle adaptor / tap head carrier. Sometimes this can wear or break and we can supply this part if you require a new one (Our part SA80-S).

If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout meets and joins the tap body) then the seals inside the swivel spout need replacing. When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a suitable silicone grease. The original O'ring kit is known by 3668R 1260R 133.0277.067. Our O'Ring Kit includes the Correct sized Allen key to remove the spout.

How To remove the Franke Ascona Tap handle / lever : there will be a grub screw on the underside of the handle. If you require an allen key to remove the handle then you can purchase our Allen Key Pack (SK01-S). The handle will then pull off. If you require a new screw for the handle this is our SS81-S

We now have a replacement handle available please note our handle is plain (not stamped H or C) and is suitable for both hot and cold sides. Compatible with 3735R / SP3735 / CH 133.0251.339/ 133.0251.353

If you require a new antisplasher /aerator this is our part SR63C/CB (available in Chrome or brushed) Original codes known by 133.0068.762 SP1263 /1263R your original part may have Neoperl stamped around the edge.

How to remove your cartridge - Our Cartridge Valve removal tool (ST03) is available to enable easy removal and fitting of the cartridges which are recessed into the tap body. The old valve may have two flats instead of a hex nut. Our tool has two ends. One end to remove the cartridge with two flats and one end to remove/fit new cartridge with hex nut. 133.0365.654
