Astini Kelda 3-Way Frequently Asked Questions.
How do I remove the Astini Kelda Tap handle?
You will need to remove the chrome screw cover on the end of the handle. Remove the the screw.
The handle will then pull off and unscrew shroud.
How do I tell which cartridge is leaking on my Astini Kelda?
The cold and the filter are on the same feed so to tell which is leaking between the cold and the filter you will need to remove the aerator which will be attached to a black pipe inside the spout. If the water is coming from the black pipe then you need to replace the filter cartridge. If the leak is coming from around the edge of the spout it will be either the hot or the cold. To identify which is leaking between the hot and the cold You will need isolation valves under the sink. If you do not have isolation valves then you should purchase both the hot and the cold.
How do I remove the Spout?
First remove the aerator on the end of the spout. Use a allen key to undo the grub screw at the back of the spout.
Pull spout up and out of the tap body. Replace O'rings in the spout and use silicone grease on the new o'rings.
I have replaced the tap cartridge and the handle is stiff to turn?
When you remove the old cartridge from the tap it is common for the old silicone gasket to remain lodged inside the tap body.
This needs to be removed before fitting the new cartridge.
