SMEG MODENA KITCHEN TAP SPARE PARTS

Please note: We recommend visually inspecting your existing cartridge to ensure it matches the advertised one, as there may be variations due to manufacturing.

The version is for the 20 splines and 52mm tall model.
Other version has a larger number of splines and spline diameter. We cannot supply this version.

Tap Magician compatible spare parts to repair some versions of the Smeg Modena Kitchen Mixer Mono tap.
If your tap is leaking/dripping from the end of the spout or around the handle then it is time to change the cartridges.

You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair".
Hot and cold cartridges available.

Please note: Your original cartridge may come out attached with a conversion / adaptor bush.
We cannot supply this bush so you would need to be able to separate the bush from the cartridge and re use your cartridge.
If you struggle to separate you should pour boiling water over the valve and bush, followed by cold water and this will help break the corrosion seal.
You will then need to re use this adaptor bush on to the new cartridge.

Replacement aerator available in Chrome as SR22X.

How to remove the Smeg Modena lever handle and replace the cartridge:
Before replacing the cartridge you will need to turn the water off.
Step 1. Remove the handle retaining screw on the underside of the lever, using appropriate size Allen key (SK01-S).
Step 2. Pull the handle away from the tap body.
Step 3. Unscrew decorative shroud from the tap body anticlockwise.
Step 4. Use a suitable spanner to remove the cartridge from the tap body.
Step 5. Fit your new cartridge in place and reverse the steps to refit the handle.
