If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Cartridges utilises a plastic handle adaptor 133.0153.218.
The Franke cartridge may be known by the following spare part references; S1022 , SP3561, 3561R, 1427R,
133.0438.152, 133.0438.154, 133.0069.364, 133.0069.365 , 133.0194.088, 133.0194.089

If you need a new aerator(end nozzle/anti-splasher) this is part SR02OL (chrome) and SR02OLCB (Brushed) and is compatible with 3620R.

We now offer replacement lever handles. Our handles are a different design to the originals so must be replaced as a set of 3. Our handles are plain and do not have H/C/F stamped on them. Our handles do not use the plastic handle adaptor. Our handles come complete with new grub screws.

If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing.
When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease.
The original O'Ring kit is known by SP1425 1425R.

How do I remove my Franke Atessa tap handle/ head?
Use appropriate size allen key to undo grub screw on the underside of the handle. Pull handle off.

How do I know if need the adaptor bush?
Until you remove the cartridge from the tap you will not know if you need this part.
This is because sometimes the bush gets corroded to the tap and remains in the tap body, and other times it comes out corroded to the tap cartridge.

Can I remove the adaptor bush from the old cartridge?
Yes you can but it can be very hard to remove due to corrosion. You can try using very hot water, followed by cold water over it, to help break the corrosion seal. The bush unscrews from the cartridge anticlockwise. You will likely ed to use some grips or put it in a vice to remove it. If you cannot separate it you will need to replace the bush.

How do I remove the spout and replace the o'rings inside the spout?
Use 2.5mm allen key to undo grub screw at the back holding the spout in place. pull spout up and out of the tap body. You can watch our How to video above.

What size spanner do I need to remove the atessa tap handle?
You will need a 17mm or an adjustable spanner
