HOTPOINT MC1BCH TAP SPARES
Tap Magician compatible spares for the Hotpoint MC1BCH kitchen Mixer Lever tap.
If your tap is leaking/dripping out of the spout then it is time to replace the cartridges.
When you remove your old valve from the tap the bush usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve.
If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them.
If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush.
(Bush is our code SB27, original code 3868R).
The Hotpoint MC1BCH tap cartridge has 28 splines.
You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side,
If you require both then you can select "Pair".
If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing.
When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease. The original O'ring kit is known by 1425R SP1425.
Replacement aerator available in chrome (SR22X-S).
