Tap Magician compatible spares / parts to repair the Howdens Lamona Professional Style mono mixer tap with pull out spout nozzle TAP9157/ TAP9158/ TAP4482.

For guidance / instructions of how to replace a tap valve step by step please click here

If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges. Original spare part codes known by 3561R, hot and cold valves available.

Cartridge has 28 teeth on spline. You will require our Anticlockwise open cartridge for the cold side, and clockwise open for the hot side, If you require both then you can select "Pair".

When you remove your old Cartridge / Insert from the tap the bush usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve. If the valve is stuck inside the bush you can try to separate them. If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush.

If you require a new handle then you can purchase our SH59R which is compatible with 3259R (please note our handles do not have H or C on them) This comes with a screw. If you need a screw separately for the handle this is our SS04-S.

If you require a new antisplasher/aerator this is our part SR24C-S (original part 3472R)

If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing. When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease. The original O'ring kit is known by 1425R.

Lamona Professional Frequently asked questions

How to I remove the Lamona Professional tap handle Lever?
Use 2mm allen key to undo handle. The grub screw is located on the underside of the handle. You can pull the lever forwards to access the screw at the back if you need more space.

How do I know if need the adaptor bush?
Until you remove the cartridge from the tap you will not know if you need this part. This is because sometimes the bush gets corroded to the tap and remains in the tap body, and other times it comes out corroded to the tap cartridge.
Can I remove the adaptor bush from the old cartridge?
Yes you can but it can be very hard to remove due to corrosion. You can try using very hot water, followed by cold water over it, to help break the corrosion seal. The bush unscrews from the cartridge anticlockwise. You will likely ed to use some grips or put it in a vice to remove it. If you cannot separate it you will need to replace the bush.
How do I remove the spout and replace the o'rings inside the spout?
Use 2.5mm allen key to undo grub screw at the back holding the spout in place. pull spout up and out of the tap body. You can watch our How to video above.
What size spanner do I need to remove the Professional tap handle?
You will need a 17mm or an adjustable spanner
