If your Modulo tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the quarter turn ceramic disc cartridges.
Original spare part codes known by 1254R. The cartridge has 24 splines.
If your tap is leaking around the base of the spout (the neck) you need to replace the o rings inside the spout.
Our O'rings are compatible with original spare parts known by 1239R.
How to remove the handle and replace the cartridge:
Before replacing the cartridge, you will need to turn the water off.
You’ll first need to remove the handle indicator by prising it off.
Then remove the handle retaining screw by using a crosshead screwdriver.
You will then be able to remove the handle and unscrew the valve by using an adjustable spanner.
Now you can then fit the replacement parts.
What tools will I need to replace the tap cartridge?
You will need an adjustable (or 17mm) spanner, and a crosshead screwdriver.
Tap valves known by tap glands, inserts, compression valve, internals, tap spares.
