If your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the gland.
Original spare part codes known by 1290R / SP1290 / 133.0069.968.
Our compatible replacement valve has 24 splines.
If your tap is leaking from the neck (where the spout joins the tap body) then the seals inside the spout need replacing.
When you replace the new rubber seals they need greasing with a silicone grease.
The original O'ring kit is known by 1239R / SP1239.
How to remove handle and change valve:
Before replacing the cartridge, you will need to turn the water off.
Remove the handle indicator by unscrewing it anticlockwise.
Once this is removed, you’ll be able to remove the handle retaining screw with a crosshead screwdriver.
You can now remove the handle and unscrew the valve cover by unscrewing anticlockwise direction.
Then remove the valve by using an adjustable spanner.
How to remove the spout and replace the O'rings:
Unscrew the pout locking collar by unscrewing anticlockwise. You can then lift the spout out and replace the O'rings.
