How to replace the cartridge:
Before replacing the cartridge you will need to turn the water off.
To replace the cartridge, you will need the handle retaining screw by using a 2.5mm allen key and remove the handle.
With the handle removed you can then unscrew the cartridge cover by unscrewing it anticlockwise.
Use an adjustable spanner to remove the cartridge locking ring.
Once this has been removed you can then remove the cartridge and replace.

If your Carron phoenix averon ap is dripping or leaking around the base of the spout (the neck) you need to replace the spout seals (known as spout o 'rings, spout washers, orings) Compatible with code 1315R/3915R
