If your ellipse tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout then it is time to replace / change the cartridge.

How to remove the tap handle and replace the valve and replace the cartridge:

1. Turn the handle to access the rear side.
2. Remove the screw covering cap with a fingernail or small screwdriver and loosen grub screw using a Allen key.
3. Pull the handle vertically away from the tap and Lever away the decorative cover.
4. Use the spanner to remove the retaining nut and valve. Now you are ready to replace the valve.
5. Hold the upper body of the tap firmly. Using an adjustable spanner unscrew the valve lock nut.
6. Pull the old valve cartridge away from the tap. Now you are ready to replace the cartridge.
