If your san Marco SMR stamped valve is leaking or dripping then its time to replace the cartridge.
If you do not know which one is leaking you should replace both the hot and the cold.

If your tap is dripping or leaking out the spout its time to change/ replace the internal ceramic disc cartridges (known by tap valve, tap insert, tap gland) cartridge is quarter turn BSP 1/2".
