Replacement spare parts compatible with the Carron Phoenix Aztec tap (Older model).

***The cartridge fitted into this tap has changed over the years. You need to count the splines on your cartridge to ensure you purchase the correct one.
This cartridge is the 18 spline version that will replace R9742P.1760C (cold) and R9742P.1760H (hot).

If your Tap is leaking at the joint of the body of the tap and the spout then you might need to replace your O-rings.
Our SK22 is the current O Ring Kit used in this tap but there is no guarantee that it will suit far older models.
This kit replaces the O Ring kit 1239R.
Any unused parts can be returned for a refund.

How do I remove the Carron Phoenix Aztec Tap Handle/ Head?
Step 1. Remove hot / cold indices from the end of the handles. Step 2. Use Crosshead screwdriver to undo screw holding handle in place. Step 3. Pull tap handle off. You may need to use some force. Step 4. Use adjustable or 17mm spanner to undo cartridge anticlockwise.

How do I remove the spout and replace the o rings?
Step 1. Unscrew locking collar at the base of the spout. Once unscrewed the spout will pull up and out of the tap body.
Replace the O rings applying silicone grease to the new o'rings before refitting.

What will stop my Carron Phoenix Aztec tap dripping?
If your tap is dripping out of the spout then you need to replace the ceramic cartridges. If you have isolation valves under the sink you can work out which side (hot or cold) is dripping. Otherwise its best to replace both at the same time.
