If you do not know which spare part code you need from your instruction leaflet you have then you will need to check the number of splines.
The cartridges are compatible with original code 2998827300.
**Please be aware for the Artisan Filter tap we can only supply the HOT side and cannot supply the cold/filter diverter cartridge.

When you remove your old cartridge from the tap the bush usually remains inside the tap block however sometimes it comes out together with the valve.
If you are unable to separate the valve from the bush then you will need to purchase the valve together with the bush.

If your Artisan tap is leaking from the base of the spout where the spout meets the tap body (the neck) then you will need to replace the O'rings.
The O'ring kit is known by original part number 1425R / SP1425 / 3627R.

How to I remove the Artisan tap handle?
Use 2mm allen key to undo handle. The grub screw is located on the underside of the handle.
You can pull the lever forwards to access the screw at the back if you need more space.

How do I know if need the adaptor bush?
Until you remove the cartridge from the tap you will not know if you need this part.
This is because sometimes the bush gets corroded to the tap and remains in the tap body,
and other times it comes out corroded to the tap cartridge.

Can I remove the adaptor bush from the old cartridge?
Yes you can but it can be very hard to remove due to corrosion.
You can try using very hot water, followed by cold water over it, to help break the corrosion seal.
The bush unscrews from the cartridge anticlockwise.
You will likely need to use some grips or put it in a vice to remove it.
If you cannot separate it you will need to replace the bush.

How do I remove the spout and replace the o'rings inside the spout?
Use 2.5mm allen key to undo grub screw at the back holding the spout in place.
Once removed pull spout up and out of the tap body. You can watch our How to video above.

What size spanner do I need to remove the Bristan Artisan tap handle?
You will need a 17mm or an adjustable spanner.

How can I stop my Artisan tap from dripping
If your tap is leaking you need to replace the cartridges.
If you have isolation valves under the sink you can identify which side is leaking.
