**The SMR coding stamped on the cartridge does not identify the size.** The date is purely a manufacturing date and is stamped on various different sizes. This cartridge is the Tap Magician compatible replacement for the SMR stamped valve which has 28 Spline / teeth, measures 54mm tall and has an upper threaded collar. This Cartridge is Known by various different San Marco / Franke / Carron Phoenix codes 1427R, SP1427, 4276R, SP4276, 2552R, SP2552, 2307R, SP2307R, 3561R, SP3561, 112.0712.488, 133.0438.152C, 133.0438.154H. Our cartridge will be compatible with all of these codes.

You will need to replace your cartridge if your tap is dripping or leaking out of the spout. You can purchase singly (hot or cold, or as a pair)

Your cartridge may have an adaptor bush fitted to it (our codes SB26 (Compatible with 3886R with Lip), SB28 (Compatible with 3409R) or SB27 (Compatible with 3868R/SP3868). This is a separate part - you can first try to separate your old one and re use this. If you are struggling to remove your old bush it may be corroded on and you will need to purchase a new bush.
